DVB Dream 1.7p2 no signal on low band

Postby mrki » Sun Sep 16, 2012 1:10 pm

Everything is ok with diseqc settings (lof1 9750000, lofsw 11700000, lof2 10600000, ku universal lnb) signal is on high band ok but nothing on low band.

Everything works fine with 2.1, low and high band.

DVB Dreams normally installed on different Win7 x64 folders.

How to solve this?

Tnx

That is why it is advised to use the latest version of DVB Dream. It includes support for the latest manufacturer drivers and bug fixes.

no everything works great on other pc, the same windows 7 x64, on that pc is still 1.7 and i will not upgrade there to 2.1 to prevent possible problems...there is only 1.7 installed

what is wrong with band confussion with both 1.7 and 2.1 installed on other pc????

problem is for you to find out by checking the differences. possibly driver versions if the DVB hardware is the same. Which DVB devices do you use on PCs?

tbs 6925 on first pc where 1.7 works perfect

tbs 5925 on other pc where 1.7 works only on last watched band from 2.1, where 2.1 works perfect

means that time when v1.7 released 5925 wasn't supported. then support added / fixed in v2.x. TBS changed drivers, if you can find older drivers ,might work on v1.7 but I think the issue it was rather a new TBS model.

If you are asking because of low SR. then It is hardware that limits minimum SR to be scanned/tuned. there is no limitation on DD.
6925 has better/great tuner, it would catch anything available
