New Blind Scan feature in v3 not working

I have tried to use the new blind scanner in v3 but cannot get it to work.

What do you have to do? I have the frequency range in and press start, and it immediately says "completed" without scanning.

Can someone please advise?

Which card do you use? TBS ?

Make sure you select StreamReader device interface , if your cards supports BlindScan. (main menu->options->device->StreamReader)
Then after a restart, you should be able to blind scan

For Genpix interface, need to wait for the next patch. We work together with genpix to complete the interface. It will be ready soon.

Having problems here too with TBS6922SE card.
When I try to blindscan after following the above procedure I get a "driver_irql_not_less_or_equal(TBS6922_64.sys)" error which causes my pc to crash.
Latest drivers installed.
I normally use EBSPro for blindscan but was hoping to use DVBDream instead.

Hi,
Me also having problems with Blind Scan. I use three different cards:
1. TBS 6925 - Blind Scan works with this card, but it crashes DVBdream 1 of 3 times. Also after changing interface between BDA and StreamReader comes with crash also 1 of 2 times.
2. TBS 6984 Quad - Blind Scan does not work at all. I choose StreamReader interface and try to scan, but it completes in a split of the second. It looks like the interface is still BDA ( although on the top line of DVBdream it shows that StreamReader is selected).
3. TBS 6904 Quad - the same problem as TBS 6984.

And one more problem - all three cards after changing interface crashes DVBdream 1 of 2 times. The DVBdream still works, but it don't have signal. Changing interface, resetting device or restarting DVBdream doesn't help. Only after restarting PC the signal is back.

Anyway, the Blind Scan that hardly, but works on TBS 6925 is very nice product. I like it very much. And it would be nice to have it on other cards .

- blindscan on both V/H polarization
- select blindscan interval from spectrum

The problem is I think currently it uses manufacturer blind-scan routines (which was buggy on some TBS drivers from my experiement, and streamreader also seem to expose this as is , on the function I used)
I'll try CrazyCat's own/other blind-scan methods which I think hopefully won't crash and used by other software. Just need to find time and test.

Congratulation for Blindscan The first attempt with TBS6983 and TBS6908.I chose StreamReader and I managed to scan with DVB Dream.Works well with both cards.
If you will be able to introduce the subtitle,then will be a perfect player.

Thanks for the screenshots/tests If you have ideas , possible to do some little tweaks, in blind-scan GUI and features etc.

TBS6522 card working in blindscan also. Of course it does not find generic stream.
It would be good to find multistream pls from 5.0W

TBS6903 is also working with Blindscan DVB Dream.But not with 5927.

TBS5925 USB Tuner also works well with blindscan DVB Dream! Only 5927 tuner usb does not work

Blindscan with tbs5927 USB Dvb-S2 Tuner but only after I have changed StreamReader file in Device.
