Just an update of old problem - i upgraded ffdshow codecs and the issue dissapeared.
The codecs used are 1.0.5.214 from 18/1/2008. Now, the DD is stable as a rock, channel switching always work and pretty fast and works even with "Reset DirectShow..." checkbox unchecked.

Actually i wrote my own tool for converting ts files into DVR-MS files (which are the same old MPEG2 in different container).

This way i can import my DDrecordings into Vista Media Center!

Unfortunately this feture not available on DD. You can use ffdshow audio decoder options to mix the correct channel to both speakers. The disadvanatge of this is that this mixing will be done for all stations and you will loose stereo...

You can do it with standalone app. You need to allocate memory in DD process (with VirtualAllocEx API) of sizeof(TOSDSurface) size, fill local structure, copy the structure to the DD process with WriteProcessMemory API and then send message while passing the address of allocated memory in DD process...

I also tried to play with settings in "Perfomance" options, without success.

Its clearly DD issue as mytheatre does not have this problem. I will check also with ProgDVB and report.
