I have a ps3 would be cool if could create a file that windows media connect (dlna server with media player 11) a symbolic link you could keep in the library and when the media server serves the file, dd streams it to the media server which intern, send it out to the network. To the ps3 and viola. not sure how media player will handle stream changes on the fly with a channel change. probably not the answer, but just planting the idea. Now low end machines can stream hd content to dlna compliant devices and off load the picture de-crunching.
