hello rel
I just noticed that FFDshow is able to play H264 for example packed in MP4 container. I think when it's able to play that format there might be possibility to use FFD show in DVB dream to play H264 as well.
how can I make sure I have all the needed guids in the guids.ini file and how can I see if FFD show has another one when playing H264?
can you please look into it? it would be really helpfull to have free player combined with free codec solution capable of playing all the needed video and audio formats.
forgod elecard and other commercial alternatives please. all the users have those hacked anyway.

I tried it, ffdshow doesn't work in DD, but other codecs have red background if they don't work, ffdshow doesn't have red background.

in here it is even not listed under H264 codec in DD's video options. it's why I am guessing it might have to do something with my config as well

Try this:

- close DD
- copy guids.ini (from guids.zip (below)) to DD dir
- start DD ;)

Also read "Recommended options" here.
