1.2a - Two EPG options not saved after DD restart

I'm not sure if this is bug or suggestion, so...

EPG options "Capture the current channel only" and "Stop when there is no new event in last 5 seconds" are not saved after DD restart.

I guess the routine which takes care of storing all the settings can be improved. Maibe you can remember I reported on betatesters forum that a setting is not saved into config file or it looks so after DD restart. Now with version 1.2A I have problems with another option. At the beta testing time I was unable to get display sr, pol and freq on status bar or whatever is this called remembered, and now it's logging to file. I am trying to uncheck that but after reopening preferences dialog or restarting the program the checkmark is back

it's kind of some mistery or I don't know what.
or do you use some non-standard controlls there? I am not clicking but using spacebar to toggle the state of the checkboxes.
