New toggle: "Exit EPG on Channel Change"

I guess the title says it all, saves the "Exit" keystroke on the remote, which means many, many keystrokes in an evening of watching TV.

Also, a "Delete old EPG events on exit" toggle would be very helpful. When the EPG cache fills up, it eventually affects the video (at least here in NA), and then '"Tools > Clear EPG Cache" works to restore a watchable picture, but having the program take care of this would be a good maintenance feature.

Ok, the upcoming version will have such feature. What is your CPU / RAM configuration ? I wonder because if EPG cache affects video, maybewe need to think of some different approach for EPG.

I'm running an older Dell XPS 630i with an Intel Quad core Q6600 CPU running at 2.4 GHz and I have 4 G of RAM.

If no one else has noticed the EPG Cache affecting their video, it may be specific to my system, and a new approach to the EPG would be unnecessary work. The NA guide data seems to be huge (300,000 events for the 44hr version), although maybe the European equivalent is just as large?

Thanks for taking up my suggestion on the "Exit Guide on Channel Change". I'm looking forward to the next version.

Hey Rel, just back from holidays and so just tested "Exit EPG on Channel Change" and it works fine. That's fast work!

It's so nice to be using DVB software that is actively managed for a change.
