FEC 3/4 and also FEC 2/5 give both signals and image to a manual search of the same channel in 8PSK modulation. (which is then the correct FEC ? )
Use Windows 7 with DVB Dream 2.7.4 and WinTV-NOVA-HD-S2 PCI card
Is there a solution to this problem ?

Some cards (tuner hardware or driver) have auto-fec feature, they try to find correct FEC if they cannot lock. We cannot do much here.

Thanks for the info , but when I do all the different modulation and FEC values fill : I have always signal ... (Picture is OK)
Previously this was not so, only when the FEC and modulation was entered correctly gave the signal strength on display .
(Have already tested with 3 receivers and 2 models PCI cards + various codecs)
Is there perhaps someone with this problem ?

I guess it has been so after a driver update. New drivers of DVB cards try to make things easier for user.
