DD application error

On new pc i got DD application error.The exception unknown software exception(0xC0000417) OCCURED IN THE APPLICATION AT LOCATION Ox100081c3- OK/cancel
If i try several times it may open. I used DD on my P4 with same OS and driver with no problem. My new PC

No such problem when I use a lower version.I tried ver 1.4f and it works. any clue what it could be???

Any clue why ver 1.4i fails each times. I could only install ver 1.4f.

"0xC0000417" error code indicates that an invalid parameter was passed to a C runtime function. Basically a programming error.
