1.5g Cannot Initialize DVB Hardware! Error-Code:1

oldest posts, i.e. the issues probably dont exists or not valid anymore for the up-to-date DD version. Please let us know if the problems still exist.

1.5g Cannot Initialize DVB Hardware! Error-Code:1

I copied my 1.5f installation to a new directory before overwriting it with 1.5g. 1.5g immediately gives the error, "Cannot Initialize DVB Hardware! Error-Code:1", and proceeds to start in "offline mode". I tried a reset of the genpix device- no joy. 1.5f still works ok. I am using the Vista driver version of genpix USB and 32 bit Windoze 7... Oh- and thanx for an awesome program...

from the log file , it looks like codecs.

try to delete settings.cfg file and restart DD again.
if it doesn't help, delete chllist.chl and scan again

try a clean v1.5g install to another folder
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it
