Issues with Timeshift

I just switched from MT to DD and so far I am impressed. I do have one problem with the program, the timeshift function. When I rewind the video to catch up on something I missed, the video stutters and locks up 90% of the time. Timeshift is something I use alot and I have tried to timeshift to HDD and increase or decrease the buffer with no success. Could anyone help me with this issue?

sorry, but there is no easy way to fix for stuttering at the moment. It needs more time&work (possible fix in the next versions)

but changing the codec might help about lock up. (I'd recommend Intervideo codecs , which can be installed with WinDVD trial versions)
