Pause/timeshift questions...

Was curious if anyone knows if pausing with a remote is broken, i didnt wanna report this as a bug incase im the problem:) I have 2 systems running DD, and neither will pause with the remote, in options/remote the proper button is selected, i can pause if i use the mouse just not by remote...
Also was curious if there is a way to adjust the timshifting, i use a large HD buffer, and when i hit rewind once it jump back like a hour.. would prefer like 30 secs:)
