This error message comes up eventually no matter what version of DVBDream I upgrade to. The only way I can fix this (which is ridiculous) is to reimage my whole PC. I have seen other people mention this error, so I know it's not just me.

Isn't there a way to permanently fix this issue without doing something drastic? I read in program notes that it might be related to antivirus. However, I get this error message even when I disable my antivirus (NOD32).

I would really appreciate a sensible way to fix the issue. Upgrading to new versions doesnt seem to help.

I was actually able to resolve all des.dll issues permanently; even on older versions of DVB Dream by excluding DVBDream.exe from HIPS protection on my Antivirus. With NOD32 antivirus, below is how to fix the problem permanently. I am guessing the same can be done in other Antivirus software.

Hopefully, this solution will show up on google searches when people have issues with des.dll.
