I cannot get DD to scan 118.7 ... I know I have the dish tuned properly because I am getting the 118.7 on my STB. Could someone please share there settings with me ? thx !

since you are using 1000+, I assume you are talking about that special LNB for 118.7 sat (the part of 1000+ dish).
You have to describe this LNB in DD properly:
bandstacked DishPro Ku-Hi with lofs: 10750 and 13850 MHz (add extra zeros to convert to kHz).
