How to do... ??

Postby atomu235 » Fri Jun 23, 2006 3:13 am

The last version I was using was 0.88. The new one is definitely better and more stable, faster and looking better :-) congrat for that.

But now two questions:
1. How to set cropping values??? in 0.88 it was present (not working well always, but at least there was a way to crop the screen). on several channels i have artifacts on top and bottom of the screen... how to fix it?

2. Is there a way to change the interfece of navigation through the channel list? in 0.88 arrows - up and down arrow were changing the channel and enter was needed to confirm change of the channel. But in the new version it totally sucks! pressing up and down automatically changes the channel! after about 10 up arrows I always get a hung up! :? :? :?

The second thing - left and rigt arrows - how to close a category if these arrows now control the volume  so if i want to close a category (ex. music) then pressing continuously up arrow in order to get to the top gets the prog crash :-(

HELP plz!

Hi

there is no cropping options on v1.x yet. not sure if this helps you out but check Dreamer's post FFDSHOW thread on this forum.

navigation might work that way in next version
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it

Yes, "Crop & zoom" works great with ffdshow.

As option, I hope. :)

Also auto-switch after X seconds would be nice, as option too, if possible.

This would be great as an option, as some people might find the new navgation style suit them. unfortunately i'm not one of them

one more thing - how to set the remote to close a category (intead of left arrow) in order to work in the new 1.1h?

Good to hear. You're welcome. :)

Not sure if I know what you mean - hotkey/shortcut to collapse ch. folder?

Try "Auto collapse" option (General > Channel List).

Try "Auto collapse" option (General > Channel List).

the collapse all closes the category, but after pressing collapse all and then up or down arrow brings me back to the last channel :-/ And so I still have to press up arrow numerous times in order to get to the top of the channel list...
so the only way to close a category is using the mouse and double clicking the category. and getting up from bed in order to select a channel from a different group isn't as good as just using the remote
and i have about 300 channels in my favourite list categorized in 14 groups so it's a bit troublesome to navigate just by up and down key on the remote.
