Sound but no picture

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and to DVB Dream software. I downloaded DVBDream recently and installed it on my new PC running Windows 8. not being happy with the Hauppauge TV software I've been searching for a better program. I discovered Sage TV7 which is outstanding, however Google own it now and one can no longer purchase a registration key, so my trial ends in 5 days. Enter DVB. DVB installed perfectly and set up the channels just fine (using a terrestial antenna). However when I choose a channel I get sound but no picture. Do any of you good people have any suggestions as to whether I'm able to resolve this problem?

It's a video codec issue... you need to play around with different codec combinations till you find
one that works best for your system.
