Is it possible to stop the video lagging the audio?

It can be a few seconds behind on certain feeds I watch.

I think this may only happen after a scan (I scan every day).

Just wondering how you remove the grey bars that show across the screen with the channel and volume etc. Sometimes they stay there for good and don't automatically go away after a few seconds.
