channels are there but no listing. Have re-installed twice but still the same. got to be something silly I've done/not done. HELP

Just re installed on pc and scan etc ok. channels are there but no text to say which is which

probably a very silly question....i downloaded codec file it opens with notepad...what do i do with it?

audio out of sync in hd
Have just upgraded to 2.2a. If i try to watch an hd channel the audio is out of sync...Anyone had this prob before
