do you have a disecq? if so you probably didn't configure the satellites properly. could be a codec issue, i use ffdshow, works like a charm.

try with OPTIONS - LAYOUT - NORMAL (FULL, COMPACT) or/and RESET device. other than that, you can reinstall, and what you did the time it worked for ya.
