hey all.. i have rescanned like 5 times in the last few days.. and i just cannot find historyHD lyngsat says 129 12661.. i get 3 food networks and some other stuff.. but no history, anyone know what the deal is?

silly question.. but to check if DXVA is working in powerdvd do you hasve to play a vid in powerdvd or check in powerdvd's info while watching a h264 in DD?

Ironically, everyone using an intel is using CoreAVC 1.6.0 just fine.

Funny since i use a core2duo on a p5b-plus 2gb mem with a 8600GTS and have never been able to get h.264 to work 100% smooth... really doubt his cpu is the issue...

If you just installed it, then the next step would be to set what codecs you want to use, setup disecq settings, and which sats you are pointing at then scan for channels...

so heres my tale.. been using dd for awhile, have normal mpeg2 HD working fine on bev... but man.. h.264 is making me nuts.. for what feels like a year now.. I upgraded the machine to a 3.8ghz c2d, p5b mobo.. 2gb mem.. vista ultimate.. genpix adapter.. here are my results and problem left over... AV...

next time it happens just delete the settings.cfg file...

ok, heres my deal first, right now i have 3 dishes on the roof, setup for 129 119 110 91 82... BUT looking at lyngsat i see 61.5 and 148 have some rocking HD channels.. well WTF.. im not putting up more dishes:) So im looking at motors and such, but i don't know dick bout them... I use a Genpix adap...

disable UAC.... first thing i do on any vista install...

I would KILL to have a adjustable ff/rw.. as in being able to set how far forward or back it would go when you use the remote for that...

Figures... 2 mins after posting this, i installed intervideo, which i never had luck with.. and all the tearing is gone.. and the video seems to look way better, that might be in my head though:)

Hi all, have been using DD for awhile now.. i have a couple problems i cannot seem to get rid of, and its been on all versions of DD.. first, i have cyberlink ati and nvidia decoders installed, i cann't get DD to switch off nvidia for audio no matter what i pick, it works fine.. just bugs me... othe...
