Installation:
-------------
Simply copy the file DD_EPG.MOD to DVBDream directory \MODLUES
and restart DVBDream if still running.
2 more files (DD_EPG.DATA and DD_EPG.INI) are created automatically.

Start & Close:
--------------
Press F7 to start the EPG or use the Modules-menu.
Close EPG with the ESC-key or Close-button.
At first start, the EPG-window appears in the upper left edge of the screen.
Move the window to your prefered position and it will reminded there on next start.
The window can not be maxi- or minimized yet.
Your settings (filter and so on) will be reminded also.

What does the EPG do ?
----------------------
The EPG does continuosly collect data from the actual tuned transponder in DVBDream.
Also when the EPG-Window is not shown/open !
It collects data for all channels transmitted on the transponder - if available.
Those are:
- Start-time and duration of a program
- The program's name
- A short and a long description of the program (if available)
Most providers transmit data up for (nearly) a week.
Some providers only transmit information for actual and following program.
NOTE: Not every provider transmits EPG-Data !
Collected data will be continuosly checked for 'old' entries and will be stored
in a file named DD_EPG.DATA in directory \MODULES.
Data-file is loaded automatically when DVBDream starts.

Using:
------
On the left side of the window you see the GroupBox 'Channels' with a ListBox which
shows the collected channels. The quantity of depends on the tuned channels in the
last time/days. Automatically the actual tuned channel in DVBDream is selected.

You can filter the entries as follows by 4 ChechBoxes and a DropDownList above the List:
- TV filters only for TV-Channels
- Radio only Radio-channels
- Data only the Data-Channels
- The '?' shows channels that are not yet scanned with DVBDream name by 'SAT-POS_NID_SID'
If a CheckBox is checked those dependend channels will be shown.

The DropDownList represents the favorites created in DVBDream.
THe first entry 'Not selected' disables this filter. Every other selection (if one or
more) shows only those programs which are available in the dependend favorite-list.

The channel-list itself is always alphabetcally sorted and will have a result only if
Data is collected and a possible filter includes this channel.
Otherwise it can be empty !

Every entry has a little CheckBox on the names left side. This is used for filtering
with text-search or global view. More about later on.

The Button 'Switch to Channel' activates the selected EPG-Channel for viewing in DVBDream.

The upper right list shows the programs (also called events) of the selected channel or the
global (filtered) view. It is subdevided in start-time, duration and name of the event.
If global view is selected there is the channels name also on theleft side.
Rarely this list can be empty if the selected channels data are old and deleated automatically
or there are no EPG-data available for this channel.

At minimum you should see 2 entries for actual and following event. Most providers send data
for about a week so that you have a quantity up to 200-300 events per channel.
The GroupBox-header shows the selected channel and a possible setted filter.

Below the EventList the short and long descriptions for the selected event will be shown -
if any. You can scroll through the list by slider or cursor

Below EventList and DescriptionBox you will find the EventFilter-group.
- 'all Ch.' will show all events for all listed channels
- 'only checked Ch.' will show all events only for all checked channels.
- 'by Date/Time' creates a time-window using the selected date, start-time and duration.

You can use all 3 Checkers independant. That means: you can filter by time for the actual
channel or view all events with no time-filter.

NOTE: This result depends also on a possible setted channel-filter (e.g by Favorites) !

For date-selection you can chose between 'Today' and up to '+ 6 Days'.
The start-time is setted automatically every 5 minutes to the next fitting entry.
The length (duration) of the time-window can be between 1 minute and 23:59.

NOTE: Start-time and duration is configurable to fit you mostly choices !

Pressing the 'Use Filter' button the selected filter(s) are applied to
The buttons name will change to 'Clear Filter'. Filter is applied until you press again.

Below the channel list you can do a text-search.
Therfore you can select if you want to search in the events name and / or in the evnts
description. One of the two Checkers must be set and the text must have at least on letter.

You can enter one or mor full words or a part of a word. E.g. if you are looking for an
event and you know the main actors or producers name only like Margaret Rutherford as Miss
Marple, simple type rutherford. If such a name is provided by any channel/event, you will
find it soon...
It doesnt matter if the text is in upper or lower case.

NOTE: The text-search will also use the event-filter. So you can search only in the actual
channel, all channels and/or filtered by a time-window.

The button 'Add to Scheduler' will send the selected event to DVBDream's internal Scheduler
for recording.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This function has no affect at the moment !! There is still a little
comunication problem DVBDream. I hope to solve this soon.

Configuring start-time and duration:
------------------------------------
After first using a file named DD_EPG.INI is created in directory \MODULES.
